One of my puppies pulled my Fuji XT-2 off the kitchen counter onto the floor. Parts and batteries exploded on the kitchen floor! Smashed my beautiful little i40 Nissin flash beyond repair, but the XT-2 and its attached lens were totally unharmed. Not a dent, not a scratch, lens perfect, perfect working order. These things are built like tanks! Sorry about my Nissin, but it gives me an excuse to get the i60 as a replacement. (it has HSS) Hello B&H!

I have a great little flash: Flashpoint. It has a transmitter for wireless off camera flash. A great little unit.... I use it on my XE2s.

Sorry to hear that, but some bad things a have a happy ending. A good plug for Fuji!

I didn't see it for Fuji. Do you use the Canon model?

Thank goodness the camera is OK. Glad this wasn't a complete tragedy.

Reminds me of dropping my Nikon FTn down the side of a mountain in Montana. It rolled about 50 yards. I retrieved it (at great risk to my life!) and it has worked fine, ever since.

Good to hear the flash was the only thing you lost.

I think you’ll like it. The snap-on diffuser really works well.

LRF; you're referring to the $80 version? (I think I want one.)

. Yes. Check out my pics from France in the gallery. I’m a recent convert to Fuji. For an additional $43.00 I also got this transmitter. It fits on a Fuji hot shoe and can trigger the flash off camera. https://www.adorama.com/l/?Page=6&SearchInfo=flashpoint+r2

Reminds me of sitting down at a summer camp picnic bench with my Canon F-1 sitting on the table in front of me, strap hanging over towards the ground. Dashing summer camp child hooked said strap in passing and the rig went bouncing after him like a puppy. The F-1 probably put a few dings in the concrete, but was otherwise unscathed. I was thoroughly scathed and became eternally paranoid about hanging straps. You live and you learn.

Whew! Sorry to hear about that, but glad it's OK. I have the same camera and am totally impressed with the build quality, and image quality, of the body and the lenses. Still, I'll try not to drop it.....
