The Hermitage, President Andrew Jackson's home near Nashville, Tennessee.
The cabin was probably built in the 1830's~1840's and probably moved to the present site in the 1850's.
Sometime after 1865 one half of the cabin became the home of Alfred Jackson. He had been born into slavery at The Hermitage around 1812 and remained on the property as a freedman until his death in 1901. At his request he was buried in the garden adjacent to the tomb of Rachel and Andrew Jackson.
Nice job on the shot. Makes a good contrast.
