Really, that last photo... use your straightening tool to make that tower stand up straight.. looks like it is leaning and will fall over!!

Nice photos. I really like to spiral staircase. I understand they continuously monitor the tower 24/7 to check how far it's leaning. I wonder at which point they have to cordon off the area.

Unless you ask where the helix staircase is you will miss it at exit.
I tried the tool to straighten the tower but from 4th floor up it leans left :). I should have taken the picture from the left of the tower. It looks straighter 😊

They say that the tower is good for another 200 years after they have done some renovation. It makes you dizzy going up the stairwell of the tower due to it leaning on one side.

When I was a much younger pup, the leaning tower was still open to the public and I was able to climb to the top. Not anymore. Some of the "Baptistry" outside the grand cathedrals have incredible acoustic properties. I still remember visiting one (perhaps Pisa or Florence) where the Italian gaurdian sang a series of several notes....which hung in the air for many seconds....sounding like a musical chord. Italy is one of my favorite destinations away from the USA. Great pics.
