Am I the only person who doesn't like perfectly clean backgrounds with no shadow or texture. Otherwise a beautiful woman, we'll posed and lit.

It's called High Key, often used in High Fashion and also Art Prints. It is a style choice. And it shows considerable skill on the part of the photographer to pull it off successfully as was done here.

Sorry, but to me it looks as if the background was "Photoshopped." I believe high key would have involved the figure as well.

There are different styles of High Key.

Great pose, reminds me of a Vargas pin-up. Beautiful work as always, Rob.

Sitting on the center of the stool, she would have fallen over backwards I think (Perhaps that is what you would be hoping for, LOL). Sitting forward, with her arm for support behind her centers her torso over the stool. Leaning back on her arm causes better arch in her back benefitting her posture. I like the shot. I have no problem with the background but personally think it would have looked better if slightly grey with some bokeh thrown in.

Well, Tom, I think you are right about the physics but that's all I could complain about. I mean, can't EVERY photo be improved somewhere? There has to be at least one flaw, and it is not on Liz!

I would prefer some background and barefoot. That's a comment on my preferences not quality of the photo which is very good

Back ground robs the shot - my eye is constantly drawn to the bright white of upper left side not to the model.
