My son-in-law was presented with his Quilt of Valor at his birthday party yesterday! My sister-in-law made mine and brought it out to me this past summer when they came out to the west coast for a visit! These are made for veterans and you can request one for your favorite vets too!

They're both lovely LB.

German municipal cemetaries are set up for rented graves, so the deceased are cremated to save space. The grave site is renewed every 20 years. When the bill is not paid and nobody responds to the city authorities, the grave can be opened and cleaned, and the next applicant can rent the site. Multiple cremations can be added by the family over the years, but the rental contract date is reset to start with that new occupant. Unlike America's commercial cemetaries, which often change owners and sometimes are simply dug up and converted to other uses, the German municipal cemetaries are revered government facilities, carefully manicured. They are often listed as tourist sights.

Thank you Photogirl17. I was quite struck by the color and pattern (or lack thereof) so had to go back the following morning when there were no other parishioners or our pastor there wondering what I was staring at, lol.

Awe I see..LOL I photographed the inside of a church once by previous arrangement with the Pastor, I was inside all by myself. Took me around an hour to get the shots I wanted, Hoisting about the Tripod etc..I wanted to get the Stained Glass with just the right light, and a couple alter shots.
Of course I Gave the Pastor a CD of what I had taken..
