I currently have PSE-15. But because I upgraded to High Sierra on my Mac, it's a bit of a pain to get to and from it. (PSE is not supported as an extension).
Luminar, on the other hand, can be set up as an extension on my Mac. My question is, do they do the same things? I'm really starting to have fun with PSE.
Any comments would be welcomed. Thanks.
Thanks, will check it out. Was just wondering if they do the same things.
Skylum sent out an upgrade to Luminar 2018 a couple days ago and it fixed the issues I was having. I have High Sierra on my Mac and can open PSE 13 from it (don't have PSE 15 though) . I have an app called External Editors and can open any of my photo software from Photos. I think I got it from the Apple app store. I can also access Luminar 2018 directly or as a plug-in for PSE.

Actually, the original release was working fine on my Mac, but when I installed the upgrade the dodge and burn stopped working properly, and blending in a new image layer wouldn't work at all. I have have faith Skylum will get it all sorted out; they have been awesome to work with in the past.

Thank you, thank you. I'm going to look into the External Editors app and see if it isn't what I'm looking for.

I also ran into this very same issue. I e-mailed support and they sent me a link to re-download the up date but the problem remains. I hope the December 7 up-date will fix it. Same problem on windows 7 computer only there are far more bugs there. It runs very slow and crashes after any edits also freezes up.
