Over 70 coubtries (and all 50 US states), every continent. I take photos on every trip from early on (1965 with my my Nikon NIKKORMAT FT) to my Olympus EM1.2 today. The ONLY place I could not take pics was in Panmunjom, on the border of South and North Korea. Only area I am missing is Scandinavia, the Black Sea area and a few war-torn areas in northern Africa and Asia. Earl

LOL!!! I did the same thing with the Air Force.. all over Europe, Asia, Russia, Canada, South America, Japan, Philippines, etc. Started with a Nikon F2 Photomic and a Hasselblad (all film). A divorce and 8 moves across the country, have caused the loss of most of the negatives.

Does Hong Kong count as an individual country? I was thinking it was part of China.

No, shooting out of an airplane (helicopter) window doesn't count. In my many attempts to shoot through the airplane window, a dirty window or glare has ruined most shots. I have yet to take a flight with an open window--would like to.

Too many to remember them all but over 50 for sure. I spent 3 months tramping around Europe in the 80's, 3 and a half months island hopping in the South Pacific in the 90's. Those two trips alone covered a lot, but I've also been to nearly every island country in the Caribbean and most of Central America. On top of all that I lived in Saudi Arabia for 4 years and in Thailand for 10 so those got me to several countries in the Middle East and Asia, as well as a side trip to Africa.

I fell in love with travel at an early age and by my late 20's I had covered the lower 48 states. That's when I decided it was time to head overseas for a while. It's been an exiting life.

I count it as a separate country as I visited it twice while it was a British Crown Colony. Have been back at least five times since transfer back to China.

Don't travel as much now as I did ten to twenty years ago but I have over 4 million miles on Delta airlines and have visited all continents and probably 100 plus country's.

That does not include paid for visits to Hawaii, Japan, Korea and Saudi plus numerous Asian Countries such as Viet Nam, Cambodia and Laos.

Hope you got the drift on "paid for"

Nick, I was on the USS Kennedy for a 2 week training cruise! I wonder if we were both on it at the same time? My cruise was in the early 70's leaving from Norfolk going to Gitmo, then disembarking in Mayport. I was in a Naval Air Reserve fighter squadron. That (those as you were on several) carrier was a beast wasn't it. I loved night watch on the flight deck at sea... travelling with running lights only... more stars than I ever knew existed at that point in time. I didn't have a camera with me on that trip but I wish now that I had taken one (if it was even allowed, I didn't ask).
