EVERY lens I have EVER purchased from them over the years has actually been BETTER than advertised... which is pretty much what everyone has said about KEH's VERY conservative rating system.

Thanks everyone for the replies, I just placed an order with them. I had to cancel a prior order since I had ordered a Canon tripod ring and I was going to order the lens elsewhere but I saw a lens marked EX+ that included the tripod mount soI ordered it. I just got off of the phone with their customer service and they were a joy to work with. Thanjk you for all of the replies to this thread.

I’ve been very pleased with KEH when I bought several Medium and Large Format lenses and accessories, usually better in quality than I expected from the rating they posted.

They seem to under-rate their products. If they say it's good, it's probably very good.

I have only purchased "bargain" level items from KEH and have never been disappointed. As others have said, I would imagine that EX+ would look like new to me!

I have bought two camera bodies and a couple of lenses and other items from KEH and only had good results. No issues to watch out for.

I've use KEH for many years to sell and buy used equipment. Never been disappointed in their rating system. The only criticism I have is that the process to sell takes much longer than it used to.

I have purchased many items from them.
Found the rating system to be very conservative and products generally better in my opinion better than the rating. Yes I have had a couple of misses but they immediately allowed a return for free.
They are good to deal with.

KEH is a serious, reputable dealer. I have never made business with them but I know from others that were satisfied with their business practices.

I've purchased from the a couple of times and sold stuff to them. Have always gotten good service. Bought on lens that wouldn't hold focus and returned it. No problems, they refunded my money promptly. y problem is I have the lenses I really need, but they keep advertising and tempting my budget.

They are excellent to deal with. I would buy there anytime. I have always gotten equipment in perfect working order and condition for everything E+ or higher - very difficult to tell from new. And right now, they are extending their warranty on most everything they sell to one year. And a 10% off sale right now. Too bad I do not need anything. Buy with confidence.
