It's always fun exploring new areas. I spotted this one on Google Maps and even though it was very crowded, there were still interesting subjects to photograph. Please download these for best detail.

Well, you certainly found the crowds, still the sea-loins did not seem to mind.
Good series of well taken photographs.

Thank you Leicaflex for the compliments on the photos.
After I sat in traffic going home that usually would have taken me 1/3rd the time, I found out that the day before Thanksgiving is the busiest day of the year to drive anywhere. I guess they all were at La Jolla! lol

Thanks Fred for the kind words. Would you want to post some photos of yours of La Jolla on this thread?

Yes Photog8, it was a great way to spend the day. I needed some time alone to digest some sad events in my life that recently happened. Thanks Photog8 for the "great set" comment.

Beautiful and I had to just sit back and let the memories flow from my times there in '62. Thank you!

In the seventies, we used to S.C.U.B.A. dive there ,when we first met, and lived "OUT-THERE. It was a swell place to be. These days the place is like the rest of California, One big "traffic-jam, and Fluster Cluck. But everyone should live there ONCE & shortly..RJM

BACK IN THE 70.S you would see maybe less then 10 seals in 1/2 miles of coast , now a few hundreds at time , in the summer the poop smell is over powering , you can smell it into downtown . now the city has to power wash the rocks .i cant imagine swimming there anymore .but , it is still a beautiful place .

digit-up, I saw several scuba divers there while I was photographing. The water is very clear and visibility underwater is excellent. I wish I had not visited the area on one of the most busy days of the year. I'm not into the traffic jams etc. Thanks for your thoughts digit-up.
