John, I slightly prefer the first one. To me, the colors in the second seem a little bit pale and "washed out".

I don't know which is which but no.1 seems to invoke a clearer memory of the scenes I saw your side when on holiday a few years. I remember the richer skies and a more contrasty view to what we usually see here. Also, the rust looks 'drier', by which I mean it's taken a lot longer to get to that state than it would here. And the grass looks a bit bright to me in no.2 as well.

Nice image though.

One of these photos is done with my regular processing; one is done with Luminar. Which do you prefer? I'™m happy to receive responses as to why. Thanks in advance.

I thought number 1 was better until I downloaded them. Number 2 is my choice after downloading. Less fringing. The saturation is a little much on both. The grass is to green doesn’t look natural

I think the sky in the first pix has too much purple (red) in it - near the top of the photo. So of the two, I would choose the 2nd.

I prefer the first because it looks more natural.

I prefer the barn's detail in the second shot, but everything else in the first seems more natural to me.

I read what you say about regular processing - don't know which is which - but I would doubt that this is one of your best efforts for an app you know well.
Somewhere between the two might be better.

Too be fare to the software I would choose two different photos for comparison. In both photos the skies are not right. It may be a lack of processing skills as well.

To be accurate in this it would be good to know what it looked like to the person's eye. I liked the first one best because it looked more natural to me. The second one may have pulled out more detail but the shadows of the tree look too bold to be real but number 2 did bring tree leaves, rust on or above the door etc. out more but overall it looked overdone.

It looks to me like one of them either shifts the image to the left or to the right.

First one looks more natural, particularly as regards the roof of the barn. Second looks overcooked and a bit too sharp. The roof looks too new on the top while the lower half of the roof shouts old.
