Very nice, but still haven't got over you owning, a Karmin Ghia, Angela---always wanted one of those! There is a dated one on a backroad a few miles from here not being used that definitely needs some TLC+ and if I was a few years younger...........Oh well!

Corky, I'd give anything to have mine back, it was a '73 orange with a black convertible!! I haven't seen one in years, what color is, or was, the one near you??
Glad you enjoyed this set and they didn't have a Ghia at this show either!!

Nice set Angela. Worked on a few of those many years ago and they were old then too.

Another great bunch, Angela! I just love all of the sleek lines of these old beauties. Your perspectives are spot on, and who wouldn't like to get behind the wheels of these cars. I especially like the green one #2 and #4. What a color! They sure don't make them like they used to. These cars were tanks! Oh yeah, I'm loving your reflection shots too. All nicely done.

Thanks Jack.... wouldn't it be great to have one now... I had a '74 Karmann Ghia convertible that I bought used for $3,000.... I looked it up, now it would be worth close to $15,000!!

I'm glad you've been enjoying the ride, Jane... those old tanks were beauties!! David and I were talking about my '74 KarmannGhia convertible, which I bought used for $3,000.... today it would be worth close to $15,000... boo hoo.... we had to sell it because of having kids.... if we only had the money back then to just keep it, but that wasn't the case and we sold it to someone in Connecticut, sight unseen for $3,000. I wonder if he still has it!
Enjoy the day!!
