I am looking forward to joining the Forum. I saw that photo editing software and the difficult learning curve are common topics. I am an amateur who is interested in learning more about home videos. Hope to find out what others are using. I have just bought a Lumix GH2

Steve, my biggest shock when I researched "how to make videos that other people will actually watch" is the fact that the audio is more important than the video and the 'story line' is at least as important as the video! Good luck and have fun!

Also look into presentation software like Pro Show. You can blend stills and video and music into beautiful dynamic presentations. I don't do video but the effects I can get for my photos is quit amazing.
