Thanks, there were actually eight on the feeder this morning very early. They sure can battle over the seed. However, the mourning dove always rules and the Jays will try to share the feeder but usually end up in the trees waiting until the dove leaves.

Seems odd. Doves seem so meek. And our jays here (Scrubjays) are so aggressive and territorial. I guess size matters!

Wonderful captures, especially that jays are so darn fast!!
I'm guessing when they're ticked off, they spread their tail feathers, even the gentle mourning dove spread his tail!!
