Like it or not, this took some very good flying skills. Plus a “Maverick’s” touch, spatial awareness and sense of humor!

How is your comment relevant to the subject at hand ?
But now that you brought it up , please don't compare him to Barrack Obama . One is arrogant but is very pro-American . The other would have made a great used car salesman . He could talk a person into buying a car without an engine . And while I'm on a roll now , Police across the country thank him for painting a bullseye on their backs .
And as far as the Navy , and for that matter all the services , they also thank him for cutting their budgets back to the point where a USAF bomber squadron needed to visit an air museum for a landing-gear part .
Trump may be an arrogant but he will not bow to the demands of political correctness that is ripping this country a part . He really does put America first . And it's about time . Have a great weekend .

You really should follow the thread before replying and rolling on. I made no comparisons to anyone and my apology was for an inappropriate reply that belongs in the attic.

One could say that "boys will be boys" concerning that pilot, but you have to admire the skill of the pilot to almost get it right.
Yes, the pilot showed poor taste.
But I'll bet he titillated as many as he offended, though the offended were probably more vocal (and also would never admit that they were titillated, too.)
IMHO

Dave, I appreciate that you backed away from politicizing what is an enjoyable story free from the on-going debates that sometimes go far beyond the line in “The Attic”. I look in other forums to get away from those arguments. So thanks for returning focus and I wish you and your family a happy holiday season.

I wish you a happy season as well! My thoughts are not always tempered with common sense!
