Unique Photo in Fairfield NJ, and B&H right across the river in Manhattan.
Pro Photo Supply in my neighborhood. I strongly support my local economy by buying local when I can. All of my digital cameras and the last five lenses were purchased at this store.

I like to think it's in my gut ... you know - a "gut instinct" that "THIS" will make a perfect photograph. Sometimes, I'm right. At other times, it turns out I was wrong. I never know, until I stop and "Just Do It!" as Nike says. Not sure how this "gut instinct" translates to real anatomy.
I suppose some will say it's "brain-activated" ... and others might say - "it comes from the heart" ... I don't really know. All I know is that I do have one, and that propels me to take the photos I take. So, that must be more akin to artistry, than it is to photography, although - since photography is the medium through which this ART is expressed - obviously, the two are very much entwined. So, this is MY Photo Center ... I don't really have a local one. All my orders I made to one or two places in the City, on the phone. But, that is NOT what I meant!
Pro Photo here as well in Portland. Really good store, they have everything.

That's great, Tom ... to have a local store that has everything .... that's just great! .... Wish there was one here, like that ....
You need "everything" to take snapshots, every day, huh?

Pro Photo doesn’t discriminate. Carries every M4/3 available.
There are a few days here and there that I don’t take any pictures but rare. They say your first 10K photos are your worst. Unfortunately in my case it seems to be 1000000 at least. So no time not to take some every day. Have you been to Oregon?
It's not a camera store as I tend to spend too much money in those places and stuff I really don't "need".

Glad to know they don’t discriminate. How many minorities are employed there?

That means they must be quite a big store ... between all the Olys and all the Pannys ... they'd have to have quite a large space, huh?
I'm still working on my first hundred thousand ... but my first 10,000 digital - came pretty swiftly ....
Yes, I drove through, it, anyway - on my trip south from Vancouver to LA in 1972 ... after a short stop in Tacoma to see friends ... I made a vow to myself I'd not stop again until I got to CA ... so, I drove right through Oregon w/o stopping (only for gas) and made it to Yreka, before I pulled over for the night ... before going - non-stop - from there, all the way to LA ... and then, after doing what I needed to do there, it was Wickenburg, AZ - before I pulled over once more ... actually stayed there in a full apartment with kitchen, for a week ....
The sad part is - during that whole trip - from Montreal to Vancouver to LA and back to CT ... I did not even HAVE - a camera ... oh, well!
