Would anybody know why this combination does not seem to work. On my screen at the back of the camera it shows a red flash ikon . . . no the normal white one that shows with the flash plugged into the hotshoe, or when the pop-up flash is activated. The test button makes the flash fire, but will not fire when the shutter is used. Have searched the entire menu and it does not appear to be a setting . . . have tried all camera modes as well.

Don't know what else to try. . . .
