Luminar 2018 was sent out today. I can see it will give Lightroom a run for it's money. Have not used the 2018 version yet but the download went fine and there are lots of videos associated.

I see they're selling both versions (You receive both Windows and Mac) for $59. The price goes up by $10 tomorrow. I was tempted, but I have enough programs to learn.

I got the email about pre-ordering. I have not used Luminar. I have the Photoshop/Lightroom CC package, but I am not thrilled with Lightroom. I have Corel PaintShop Pro X9 and I like it better for simple editing. I would love it if there were one editor that did it all. LOL. I am always interested in what others use and how they rate it.

I downloaded 2018 yesterday. Have been using 2017 for the last year. Only problem I'm having now is getting 2018 to function as a plugin to Apple Photos.
Received the link today to download and got mine for $49.00
I recently had the Aurora HDR 2018 after having the beta version of the Luminar 2018 not performing correctly. Then after a month of trying to get the Aurora to export a photo after 30 minutes of its processing, and going through all the suggestions the McPhun company suggested, it was finally concluded their system's were not compatible with mine, and they ethically gave me a refund. Luminar and Aurora HDR 2018 appear to be a very go
od system and I respect the company's ethical way of doing business with me, it just didn't work with my existing system/computer. I have recently been advised my existing plug-ins are now going to be supported by another company.
I downloaded Luminar 2018 yesterday also, but cannot get it to plug-in to Apple Photos. Any UHH member have a solution for us? Thanks

What in the world system do you have that it wouldn't be compatible with? An Apple IIe. LOL.
Does anyone KNOW if the 2018 Luminar program will work with the new Canon raw files? To be specific, will it operate with Canon 5DIV raw files? I have asked Luminar, by email, and have yet to receive a response. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Macphun have a file online 'RAW_Support_cameras.txt' that lists all of the current RAW files they support. The Canon EOS 5D Mark IV is in the list.
