I shot this in November 1996 from the West Wind Inn on Sanibel Island. I had gone out to photograph the sunset when dredging equipment was moving up the gulf to Captiva. They dredged the area by Blind Man's Pass later that week. This is a scan from Fuji Velvia shot with my Canon EOS 10S and a Sigma 400mm lens. I sold that lens several years ago but still have the camera.

The sunsets are never disappointing there. Take plenty of insect repellent when going out at sunset.

I remember well, the no-see-ums ate us up before we learned about them. Ordinary low concentrste repellant does not work.
