Kodak 14mp FF DSLR Canon Mount Collectible

Kodak did their time in FF camera's by collaberating with Nikon and Canon. This just popped up on eBay. Low shutter count. Being sold out of a collection. Palatable price.

One of my favorite Olympus camera's is the 2003 E-1 Pro. 4/3 Kodak sensor regarded highly for rich color renditions. In fact, I had one of mine out yesterday shooting it. No other digital I have owned (many) match the color rendition of that early Kodak sensor.

Here is the eBay listing:

I find the "Fast-----Slow" label on the ...shutter dial(?) interesting.
According to the article below, the top is from Sigma body.
https://www.dpreview.com/reviews/kodakslrc
"As we've already noted the top of the camera is clearly straight from a Sigma SA9 / SD9 / SD10, the main body however is a custom design for Kodak, and to be frank isn't pretty."

It's much better to get a Canon FF of the same period.

Only if you are willing to give up the excellent color renditions. And the 5d Canon was fewer MP. 12.1. Perhaps one of the more expensive Canons. I would want to see image comparisions, as Canon has never been ranked highly on it's image quality during that time.

I had the Kodak= with Nikon mount system. (my brother has it now)
The IQ is excellent though DR limited. As a studio camera it is stil a very good tool. The biggest problem with these now is the batteries are no longer available.
