It's not very often you hear about a drag racer dying in a crash. This was a female driver - only eight years old.

Sounds like a very freak accident. The junior dragsters, which they also have in this country, are very underpowered. I have never even heard of a crash with one, much less a death. The article is very short on specifics of what happened, but I'll bet the car wasn't being used as intended.
