The stirring of the apple butter outside reminded me of when my Grandparents and my Grandfather's sister and her husband used to make apple butter every Fall. I remember it being a long process and I would get bored playing outside by myself at my Great Aunt's house. The picture just brought back memories that are more than 65 years old. A very long time ago.

It would be well worth the visit. You could see Wade's Mill and McCormick farm and mill the same day as they are only a few miles apart.
