Call me weird, but I like this shot of the guy in the garbage bag. I've tried cropping different ways, not sure what looks best. Any suggestions of how to make it more pleasing would be welcomed.

I keep a folded up 30 gallon trash bag in my backpack as an emergency raincoat.

Dear Mr. Weird,
I didn't crop it, except for the amount that was necessary to tilt it a little, I took it to B&W with a blue filter and then kicked up the clarity to highlight the man and the rain, added some vignette, and like I said tilted it somewhat....

I've skied in the rain while wearing a trash bag to keep halfway dry; whatever works for you is acceptable!

That would probably be skiing New England.

Love this version. Great job, and great capture, on the original OP's part.

I would take some off the right side to keep the subject from being in the center. He is walking to the left, so I think it needs more room on the left side. What do you think?

I have a few ideas, Jude. I'll play around with it when I get a chance & email you the result.

Earl.

I like that a lot. Makes the subject stand out nicely. Thankyou.

Agreed. I like to follow that line as well usually. I've noticed lately that lots of photos on Instagram place the subject in the center, they seem to throw out the rulebook and usually looks good.

Get rid of the sign pole in front of the garage door on the left. Makes the pic too busy.

I do like the cropped version and the b&w makes this image stand out.
