I'm very close, to make decision what lens I should buy for N D700 , N D500 ,N D810 ,
I like to ask everyone who already 'danced' with this lenses on this Nikon bodies .
Nikon : A 24-105mm F4 DG OS HSM
Sigma : 24-105 mm Art. f4
My reason to buy one of those I like to use 4 everyday play around , everyday high end portrait. I guess my primary question is please let me know about problems with those lenses on FX and DX., If any exist .
The price it's around $1400.00, usa mark.
Thank you for your time and let me know what you think 😊

I don't think Nikon makes a 24-105mm lens.
Maybe you are thinking of either 18-105mm or 24-120mm.
Of course 24 to 120 f4G ED VR, thank you for correction

I would go with the Nikon 24-120. Great lens.

I can't speak to the Sigma, but I have the 24-120mm Nikon. It's very sharp and versatile. It's an FX lens and will work very well on DX and FX cameras.
I have the Nikon 24 to 120 f4 great walk around lens can be had on ebay around 450.00 but for nice portraits on the cheap get the nikon 24 to 85 sharpest zoom they have also you can use the 60 mm 2.8 D macro for portraits great lens very sharp can get on ebay around 275.00

I am quite sure you had the Nikon 24-120 f4 VR in mind because there is no such a thing as a Nikon 24-105 f4.
I do not own or have used any of those two lenses but it is my understanding that both are lenses designed to be used primarily with full frame bodies. You can use a full frame lens on a cropped body but because of the "digital factor" there will be a change in focal lengths. That change could be desirable at the tele side of the zoom but not so at the wide angle setting. I have always recommended to use full frame lenses with full frame cameras for best results.
In regard to optical quality Sigma competes very well with OEMs. If I had to make a choice mine would be the Nikon 24-120 f4 lens simply because I favor the lenses made by the manufacturer for their cameras.
As far as I know both lenses will do their part if you do yours.

Actually the focal length doesn't change, the angle of view changes.
Nikon has an excellent 24-120 f/4 and Sigma has a good 24/105. It's just your choice. I have both.
