I am bringing this up because it has happened to me multiple times and to be honest I am getting very sick and tired of being treated like a kindergartener from the administration and I'm sure that you all have experienced this at one time or another. The problem is that every once in a while, yahoo puts an email from here in the spam folder instead of the trash when I trash it. After reading a post, I delete it as I'm sure most of you do.

Here's the problem: When yahoo screws up and puts an email in the spam folder, I get punished by the administration like a kindergarten child and get banned for supposedly 10 days; emails are blocked from coming to me. I can spam thousands of emails over the years and nothing ever happens; the same harassment is there the next day; but not this site. It blocks you from continuing on discussions with many topics, cutting you off from the reason we are here. To add to the mess, I have to email the admin to put me back on so I can get the emails; which takes him several days to do this too and then can take days before they start coming in. My latest tantrum (now you know why I have not responded for the last two weeks) was instilled on me October 20. I got the email back from admin yesterday and as of this writing (11/8/17 at 11:11am, I still have not had a single email come in yet. I am now at 19 days and still having the tantrum imposed on me. This is not right and maybe it's time we as a group address this issue and have this childish practice stopped. And don' come back and say it's yahoo doing it, because it's not. It's clear that when thousands of emails that are spam, are marked as spam, and yahoo does nothing about it, that it is not yahoo doing this and by going into the spam folder and removing the email from spam, also does no good. It is clear that this tantrum comes form the administration of this forum and no where else.

How many others have been treated like a preschooler here and how many are tired of it? If i don't respond right away to your remarks, it's only because the tantrum has still been instowed on me.

So, you want some cheese to go with that whine? After more than 6 years here its never happened to me, sounds like you are causing your own issues here.

Put UHH in your address book and nothing will go to spam. Everything from UHH appears in my main mail.

As far as raving rants go, you're in the class with W/R and others. BTW....are you the reincarnation of W/R?

Have you put UHH's e-mail in your contacts? That will usually keep stuff out of spam. i use Yahoo and I've never had one of their e-mails go to spam.

Never happened to me yet, but I absolutely understand your frustration and I agree with you, if that is in fact how that is handled it should stop!

Having read this I now understand what is happening. Somehow, when you've meant to send UHH items to trash they've gone to spam. As a result, when UHH has attempted to send you more email, they get sent back to Admin as "undeliverable." In order to stop all of the "undeliverable" emails coming back to him/her, he/she suspends your account until the email situation is fixed. Don't blame Admin in this case. I'm sure it's a result of having to deal with returned emails and not a tantrum. If this has happened more than once, maybe you should use another email account specifically set aside for UHH, such as gmail, which is also free.

I just go online to UHH, my log in is automated ands everything works fine.
Perhaps I did not tick the box for emails OR I used a now defunct email that is crammed with the damn things.

Just search for the site and log in ...when your browser asks if you want to save your log in details click yes....end of problem

If that's the case, I have Yahoo email, and the only way I can see something would go to spam instead of the trash is if you hit the "spam" button instead of the "delete" button. The buttons are right next to each other. I have never hit "delete" and had the item go to spam.

Over the past year I've found the daily digest in my spam folder a number of times. Why they ends up there is beyond me. I just transfer them to my main file and move on. Haven't missed a day.

I'm on a mac, not a windows machine and yahoo has nothing of the kind on my email.
