Hi Bultaco,
I have used my neighbor's wooden goose weather vain wooden when I check out cameras and lenses. I can just step out my back door and shoot.

Hi ebbote,
It doesn't just look like winter, it feels like winter. We abruptly jumped from pleasant fall weather to winter. I was finally forced to give up wearing my shorts.
Thank you for checking in.

Hi Stash,
I wasn't looking froward to winter either. I'm somewhat sure the snow will go away in a week or so, and I can finish my yard work.
Thank you.

Angela, good hearing from you. The first dusting is always nice, but I still have yard work to finish. I'm sure we will get a short reprieve before the real stuff comes. We will probably have a white Thanksgiving and Christmas. Like most places, you just learn to deal with whatever comes your way.

I just shot road pic through the windshield while driving down the road. The barn and deer were taken 3 or 4 blocks further down the road. I just pulled up next to the deer, but had to get their attention so would stop eating and look my direction a little bit.

Thank you for checking in.

I'm with you... still yard work to do. It's been mild here, but we were hit with lots of rain and wind, so all the leaves are on my lawn and too wet to mulch.
Beautiful scenery in your neck of the woods... I enjoyed them all!!

Hi Angela, it's me again. Some years, I mulch the leaves, but this year once the leaves are down I will probably rake them into the street and the city come by an pick them up. Assuming we don't get more snow.

Beautiful collection. I especially like the one with the deer in it.

Hi Hal81,
Thank you for checking out my snow day pics. There are always a few deer, but there were deer everywhere I looked yesterday, plus a few turkeys.
Thank you for your comment.

We have to bag our leaves in order for the town to pick them up... and that ain't happening!! I'll mulch and then whatever is left will get blown near the fence and cleaned up in the spring.... after the snow melts!!

Enjoy the rest of the week, Gary!!

Hi Tikva,
Thank you for your kind comments. Yesterday was a good day to photograph deer. Although there are always deer just down the street from my home, but this time they were everywhere I looked. I took a lot of pics. About an hour ago I grabbed good camera and a 70-200mm lens and I was able to get a few more shots.
Thank you for checking in.

Beautiful shots, Gary! I'm not looking forward to snow just yet, but it is sooo beautiful, isn't it?

Hi sailorsmom,
I completely agree, the first snow is always beautiful and I generally look forward to seeing it, but not this early. I still have some yard clean up. However, it did get me out to snap a few pics.
Thank you for your comments.
