I like the movement of the light from the left in this shot. For me it is as though the light leads the eye from the large planters to the face. Do you see this? Is the crop wrong?

I think the planters grab too much attention from the subject. I would crop them out. And allow your daughter to be the focus

The planters are appropriate, in my opinion, only if they represent a large part of her life, but then if they did I would expect to see what she is growing too.
