Hi Garry, Welcome to the Dark Side!
Sorry, no scopes for sale here. I only have one anyway.

You could start with what you've got though. Taking pictures and learning the skies.
If you have a tripod, you could begin shooting star trails.

And if you are up late, Orion is coming up in the ESE at about 11 PM. Binoculars, or your longest lens can get you some images.

Have Fun! Clear Skies!

I googled the word "sope" and discovered it is a type of Mexican food.
Sounds good.

It sounds like you are interested in astrophotography, if so, you are throwing away your money on a telescope at that price range. To add to Sonny’s comment, if you have a camera, lens and tripod, you may be better off getting started in wide field first. If this is the case, I could recommend ioptrons skytracker https://optcorp.com/products/ioptron-black-skytracker-with-tripod-ballhead-polarscope?gclid=Cj0KCQjw4eXPBRCtARIsADvOjY15xYUrYEGNM0RhcKYpfCoWG8c1HD4eT2dH1VMvuNWhUCbPGrrdGjQaApvtEALw_wcB or something similar. You can also find these on eBay, so you could get started at a low cost. There are many sites where people specialize in this type of photography with amazing results.

Hope this helps.
