Our Hostage Rescue Team got Eisenheim the Magnificent! He's safe! The ether in Madame P's iBall cleared again long enough to show us the happy scene of rescuer and rescuee. It evidently took a commando-style night operation to free the victim, and while Madame P and the team are still out of contact and we don't know the particulars, we can see Eisenheim is alive and well. I'm sure there will be a long road to recovery, but regaining his freedom and getting out of that straightjacket should give a big lift to his spirits.

I'm sure he'll want to give a big thank you to everyone for their prayers and good thoughts during this most difficult time.

Thanks, Val. All's well that ends well. Might have another episode or two, but a fun story to do, and glad you had a smile or two with it.

Thanks, Tikva. There was a huge cheer that went up here in Operations when we saw the scene in the iBall. I expect we'll be hearing from Madame P and Seal Team 9-Lives any time now, and the debriefing ought to be illuminating.

Glad you enjoyed the story so far, and thanks as always for your kind comments and visit, it's always very much appreciated!

Great news!! Great effect!!

We're all ready to celebrate up here!! For the Gala Week, City Council is proposing some official music.

The Irish Rogers singing "Wasn't That a Party", and Stompin' Tom Connors with "Sudbury Saturday Night". Should be a blast!!

GREAT NEWS. Now the ministry can get back to previous chaos. Maybe this would be the best time to use the facilities of the famous M.inistry Investigating Service Tracking Advanced Katnapping Extension. I understand, from my extensive, Cardio vascular implant device knowledge. that MISTAKE always uses the correct procedures. They always make the proper closures. Let me know if you need a referral as I have many a MISTAKE to my credit.

A big sigh of relief! Make sure he is spoiled, out of the dreaded straight jacket, gentle grooming and whatever his favourite delicacy is. Looking forward to hearing the full details of the rescue. Your usual excellent work Randy.

Thanks, Ron. There is overwhelming relief here in Operations. For our Dark Lady, along with Chopper and Seal Team 9-Lives, it's 'Mission Accomplished.' I would hope there are not thousands of dead, wounded, and/or missing in their wake, as Dark Ladies are generally very careful not to hurt anyone. But it's hard to shed a tear for catnappers so cruel they would terrorize and put a straightjacket on a gentle character like Eisenheim tM.

I'm sure the team did what they had to do, and no more than that.

The Martian has declared a holiday for all non-essential Ministry personnel (I, myself, as the Ministry's astronaut/custodian, am considered totally, completely, and in every way non-essential, and therefore don't have to mop the floors this evening. He did say I could wait until midnight to start them. So long as they're done by morning. Woo-hoo...) And upon return of our rescue team and victim, there will be a celebratory parade with confetti and duck calls along the Ministry grounds, with fireworks to start at 9 pm promptly.

Should be quite a shindig!

Thanks to Tippit and the Northern Division for the loan of Seal Team 9-Lives! The rescue wouldn't have come off without them!!! (Well, okay, it probably would have, but it would have taken at least an extra year and involved a nuclear strike...). So we're all better off. Except for the Nanookian terrorist catnappers, who are not. But no one feels sorry for them.

Thanks for the laughs along the way and your visits, they're always very much appreciated!

Lol! Thanks, Bob. There will have to be some serious post-mission analyses and procedural evaluations, so that events like this don’t happen again. And if a MISTAKE is necessary to that end, you can be sure that agency will be called in.

Thanks for the laugh and your visit, it’s always much appreciated!

Thanks, Sylvia. A huge cheer went up when Madame P’s iBall showed us the victim had been rescued safely. One would hope collateral damage was kept to a minimum, but things rarely go completely as planned.

We have yet to learn the particulars of the mission, and I can’t wait to hear the story myself, when the team is debriefed.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, always very much appreciated!
