Just discovered that the raw file data includes <aux:ApproximateFocusDistance>355/10</aux:ApproximateFocusDistance>

Would I be correct that 355 is feet, as could be noted from the lens focal distance lens? What might the /10 add?

Actually, it might divide, not add.

Thanks, and I find elsewhere that the distance is 355/10 = 35.5 meters, not 355 feet.

Well . it's been a long while since I had to distance in meters but @ +/-3.28 feet per meter your 35.5 meters = 116.47 feet just over 1/3 of a standard football field and 355' is about 1 1/3 fields How far away did you think you were from the focus point?

I think the 35.5 meters is close.
