Working In A Tight Space

This mural, located at the corner of Jones and Beach in San Francisco, provided a bit of a challenge as there are trolly waiting areas across the sidewalk so stepping back was not possible. I used a "fish-eye" lens and a panorama working together to get it.

When you say you used a "panorama" do you mean it is a composite image where you have combined several images into one, all using the "fish-eye" lens?
Are you using an APS-C camera with an 8 mm lens,
or a full-frame camera with a 12 mm lens?

Thank you for asking. I was using a 1/2.6 format 16-megapixel sensor with a 31mm equivalent prime lens and a "fisheye" lens adapter along with an in-camera composite program. At least that's what I think I was doing! :-)

Barbie,
A 1 / 2.6 format sensor is tiny- about 5 mm x 3.8 mm.
Would I be correct to assume that this is a cell phone camera,
and that the "fish-eye" is one of those "clip-on" adaptors?

Sheesh, busted! Isn't a girl entitled to some secrets?

In my defense, I did have a Canon 80D right there with me but I didn't have an ultra-wide lens for it and the little clip-on adapter wouldn't fit it.

Besides, I'm having a world of fun with my cellphone camera! In addition to the clippy little adapters I now also have little filters for it, including a CPL.

Can I stay on UHH? Or am I banished to the darkness?

80% of the world's "photographers" now use a cell phone as their camera!
It is only about 11% who use a DSLR.
My wife uses her cell phone as her camera now, and also has a set of those
"clippy" adaptors!

Has she tried the little clippy filters that are also available? Seems you can use one or the other at a time, so no CPL for the telephoto.

(The Vivitar 8x Tele I have is pretty bad anyway. I keep wondering if better ones are available).

Barbie, my wife has experimented a bit with her "clippy" filters
but has not done a serious exploration of what they can do.
