La Massana center; only 2% of the land is arable, and at a premium, so they build up
Escaped allied airmen recuperated here after crossing the Pyrenees in WWII; a number died from exposure. One American, T/Sgt. Charles Peacock, is still officially MIA, though they have just discovered some remains and are awaiting DNA testing.

Actually, Esso is still used throughout Europe - Exxon is used (per Wikipedia) primarily in the US.
