Ausable Chasm.

1 month ago my wife and I visited nice place Ausable Chasm in Adirondacks. We were hiking and rafting. Often I see on this forum question what camera, lenses and tripod take. I do not hesitate what should I take. I took 2 cameras /Nikon D750 with 24-70mm and Nikon D700 with 20mm lenses/ and tripod. To prove it I am posting my photo before rafting with 1 camera and tripod, the 2-nd camera was used by my wife to take this picture. C&C please.
Nice shots - I particularly like Nr 2!
I lived in Ausable Falls several years ago before I owned a decent camera. I enjoyed the chasm all year long. You should see the falls after a cold snap down 10 degrees below zero.

You have a good eye and you followed through with great technique. Well done!. I enjoyed your trip, could almost feel the cool breezes and feel the mist from the falls.

Great shots.
Back around 1971, I drove up to Canada to visit some cousins. Had a sleeping bag strapped onto the luggage rack on my Datsun 2000. I was tired, late at night, and found a little cut off on the road going through the Chasm. A sign said "No Overnight Parking" or something similar. Unrolled the sleeping bag and slept directly under the sign. I was not bothered and in the morning I bathed in a stream off the roadway. That is a beautiful place to explore.
Thanks for sharing.
