I won't make a list. With few exceptions, all products are better, more efficient, and more convenient than in the "good old days".
Maybe a list of "things about the past" that we DON'T remember fondly, would have ALSO been interesting, but I don't believe he was insincere about the past stuff HE thought was great. I too have many fond memories of past things/ conditions that are no-more, that I often pine for. not the least of which, was the people in my life that BOLSTERED me and my dreams. It's a hard place out there these days Life starts to burn-out rather quickly in our ADVANCED years. Holding on to fond memories any more is impaired by our weakening capacity to REMEMBER ANYTHING..
