Nice shot...We have ibis in Australia too but they're not very popular.

Because they are scavengers that hang around streets sometimes, raiding rubbish bins, and they have a head that looks like a vulture. I like 'em though, they're just birds.

I have never seen them get into trash here. After it rains you might see crowds of them in your yard eating bugs.
