I found this shot while cleaning up my Lightroom catalog, it's a reprocess of a JPEG file. The original was shot 5 years ago in April of 2012.

Nice image. Wonder what it would look like converted to dramatic Black and White

If you had shot this in RAW format, you options to work with the image and bring out hidden textures and light would have been enhanced 100%. With digital photography, unless you are a press photog on a tight deadline, there is no real reason to shoot in JPG format. It really, really puts a lid on your potential.

I tried. This one would be difficult. There is a bit of pixelation going on in the download image.

It is a nice subject and scene - but IMO, it does need some serious PP. I have reprocessed the down load if you would like to see it or have me post it here ?? I could not resist - I do not do this often.......

OR, if you had shot it at the correct exposure - that would help too ....
