I play uke as well and I was wondering how the fest was. Have you been there before. 5 or so from my uke club went to the one in Ashoken in May. The accommodations sounded a bit to rustic for me so I didn’t go.

It was the best one I've gone to yet. The price was about $125 for three days of ukulele, vendors, workshops with big name presenters, concerts, a train ride, and two meals. The whole event is organized by a man, his wife, and their daughter. Amazing. Unfortunately, I've seen prices lately of $110 and $125 for one-day events. Ridiculous! This was my first time attending, but I'll definitely go next year - first weekend in October. Link to pictures below.

I went in 2015, and it cost $435 for four days, with meals - lunch and dinner, I think. The food was excellent. Now the price is about $100 more, so I don't plan to go again, even though it's just a couple of miles away.
Thanks Jerry. Good to hear. Maybe some of us from Long Island Strummers will show up next year.
And thanks for the link full of photos.
Jerry, sounds like a great get together. I wish it was closer. JerryJ
