Another simple dinner or lunch for that mater! I bought a small package of boneless pork in my grocer. I saute´ 1/2 red pepper & 1/2 onion heavily cut plus 4 cloves of garlic coarsely cut. Cook all in oil of your choice, I used coconut oil, for about five minutes. Then I added a 8oz can of tomato sauce and poured a splash or two of port wine. Let cook further not long, maybe 7-8 min.

This time I used mashed potatos, goes with any foods you LOVE, don't forget a glass of vino! CIAO, AP

That really looks good. I like recipes that are semplice e deliziosa.
However, isn't coconut oil a saturated fat? Why not olive oil??

I would love to eat your food shown here! P.S. -- I like your idea of seasonings --- our country has been lax in seasoning techniques despite help from Julia Childs. Also I'd like to see more people knowing how to cook rice! Thanks for your powerful photo!

Thank You for your response and question, Ricardo7! Both coconut oil and olive oil have saturated fat. However, olive oil oxidizes after you open the bottle and start using it. One advanage of coconut oil it neutralizes your cholesterol HDL & LDL level. There is much to learn about food we eat and the best response it does to our health.

There are many foods and drinks to be cautious of, we all still learn no matter how old we are! AP

Brother vet Chase4 such an horner to hear from you! As mentioned in the past, if the food looks good on my dish, I make photos to please me. I pass this on to all UHH members. Now that the holidays and cold weather is on its way, you'll see more of my dinners. I LOVE cooking and making photos of my dinners. CHIO, AP

Ballsafire, what a fine response of words! I started to learn cooking when I was a young boy. Of course I did not cook the dinner meals. Everything in life no matter how old you are you'll always learn an added feature towards your preformance.

You did mention a very interesting food to cook, and properly at that, RICE! For many years I have cooked rice, but, I cannot master it as rice I eat in a Chinese restaurant. Very, very, good point that you mentioned! You will see in future a rice dish with my cooked dinner.

THANKS Ballsafire, wonderfull response! CIAO, AP

What a nice reply back to me. Till this very day I have read UHH members saying: bad weather out their, I have nothing to photograph! I would answer, we all have to eat! Why don't you make photos of your home cooked dinner! Get this, still waiting to see ONE photo of their fine home made suppers. What is everybody afraid of, are you trying to tell me you do not eat food at home. We are talking PHOTOGRAPHY, not cooking! CIAO, AP

While I do like mashed potatoes, I would be inclined to put your
sauteed pork on pasta. I think that would be excellent.
