We have 4 days in Marigny, walking distance to French Markets and Bourbon St. Loving walking around, such a great place to visit. The houses are so unique. Riding the street cars today, swamp tour tomorrow.
Staying in a guest house 150 years old, on Royal Street, really nice.

I'm very sorry, Jude, but pleased that you guys are also from the same beautiful country!
I looked back over a few of your nice topics and noted that you have a road van, and glad that you didn't delete it from the image, as we also have one and have become so attached to it that we even drive it around home most of the time. We live on a little swampy tidal river, the Chickahominy, and are a few miles west of Williamsburg and Jamestown, Virginia. We sure do--it's a Dodge 3500 van converted into a campervan by Road Trek, a Canadian company. We purchased it, used, about five years ago with some misgivings, but only wish we had purchased one at an earlier date! When we were much younger, a very long time ago, we owned a 1964 VW camper and have many happy memories of it. Hope you guys are "deep in the swamp" by now and having a great time. Take care! Corky
