An interesting image Bob, nice technique and technically sound..I commend you for not being lazy with your brush work here, laugh. I find it compositionally well done…if I had a nitpick it would be the leaf upper left about 10:00 O’clock coming in at a different direction, can’t explain why but it gains my attention when viewing in that area of the image...

Frank, the leaf is politically correct, and maintains its true orientation. The "rest" of the image was rotated 50 degrees to the right and then cropped to compensate for a large hole in the bottom left corner. I didn't want to lose the leopard spots, and the black hole was way more disturbing than an errant leaf.

Thank you, Carol. A lot going on, but I liked the "S" curve best of all.

Overall a combination of so many things that have blended to form a eye soothing mix. The background and the "gray lighting" on the flower contrasted to the bolder leaves... very interesting and unexpected.

I went back to this one again and again. Of all your memorable images, I think this one might be my favorite. It is probably not exactly my taste; but I'm amazed by the craft and artistic vision you employed to come up with this image. It is certainly striking. Excellent.
