I have a D90 and tried this and it does not work. I have last up dated the version 1.002 to the camera. When I went on Nikon's site, it shows that the latest version is 1.002. My Nikon Capture NX2 software is where I get the notification does not indicate any more updates. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks!

I got this info via ByThom.com. This update is for Nikon lens distortion control, not the camera "nuts & bolts" functions. The first 2 firmware (A1.00 and B1.00) are the "nuts & bolts" firmware.

Use the links I provided, read up on it and decide for yourself. It worked on my D90 which had the L1.002 **note the "L"** update already installed. This update is L1.006 so it should work fine. Make sure you follow the instructions for your OS and then press Update after you put the SD card back in and go to Firmware Version (under the wrench icon). Also make sure you have a healthy charge on your battery.
