Sorry but I get that detail with my Panasonic bridge camera
I shot this one with my Nikon P900 from approximately 15 yds. I guess it was 135mm.

Was this image shot at 500mm? I would crop it so we can see the detail of the dragon fly.

The key is to fill the frame with your subject...in this case and your case a dragonfly.
Nice, closer would be nicer.
The last one is awesome! First one needs major cropping. Unfortunately, that other branch going diagonally is distracting.

Let me say first thank you for all the comments I am still new and learning I do not know how to crop yet and only had the 200-500mm lens on me at the time so I had to make do with what I had Thank you.
You need to get closer and do a little post processing. But, you are on the right track. Also watch your background.
