Carol...That certainly was a most enjoyable, interesting, and beautifully filmed tour you took us all on. Your photos are all very impressive, but shot #8 (rooftop gardens) tops them all, in my opinion. Excellent!!

Thank you, Bill! You're right. There are plenty of areas that are run down and the homeless situation is pretty bad. However, all the areas nears the Mall appear to be in pretty good shape.

Thank you, Karin! I was amazed at some of those roof top and balcony gardens. You aren't really aware of them from street level but when you get up high, they are everywhere!

Mike, your lovely comments make it all worthwhile! I, too, love #8. It was challenging to shootthrough the steel cables on the tower and it was difficult to get a decent angle. I'm just very pleased that it worked out as well as it did.

These are wonderful images, Carol! I've been to DC many time but never went to the top of the Clock Tower! If I ever go again, that'll be on the top of my "to do" list!
