Using film is like painting with a canvas. It may not be the newest way to produce an artistic image, or the fastest, or the most digital, but it's always going to be an artistic choice.

Kodak just released, probably, the greatest color film produced as yet by hand of man. Ilford's sales of black and white continue to rise.

I also think there is a new interest in film drawing students, artists, and hip youths to give film a try, and see where photography came from.

Just like the digital tablet isn't going to replace oil pants completely, digital may be huge, but it won't kill film.

[quote=So,.... I've started sending my film to TheDarkRoom.com and so far am very pleased with the results. There are others, but I just semi-randomly chose this one. I just want my film processed and get back digital images. Then I decide what to print.[/quote]

Their web page isn't loading ... have you used them recently?
