I got a serious gas attack and bought a 5dmkiv. So I’m selling my 6d body only. 4000 shutter operations. With extended battery pack. Looking at prices on eBay I think $900 is reasonable. Body is in perfect condition never dropped, banged or abused (I’m a bit retentive on handling my camera equipment. Pm me if interested

Nooooo...dont sell it...if you can afford to...keep it. I love having both as they both have great IQ and I dont have to change lenses as much. Good backup in case the mkiv needs service....
(If you cant afford to....then I understand :-)

Just bought a 5D III but keeping my 6D. Nice to have backup or when you send off for service.

I bought a refurbished 6D last year. It is a wonderful camera. It doesn't shoot as many frames per second as the newer cameras, and it doesn't have a built-in flash - those things don't bother me at all (it does have a hotshoe for a speedlight). It has great image quality right out of the camera, even at an ISO of 12,800. This is a decent price for this camera.

....funny, I am looking to get a used 5dMkiii to replace my 6D ....IQ is marginally better on the 6D but close enough however I need the dual slot as I use both cameras doing weddings. I stress about the chances that i could lose some pictures on the 6D if the SD card goes bad. Hasnt happened yet but feels like I am spinning the risk wheel every time...

Yep! I have the 6D as supplemental to my 7D2. For most shooting where subjects are not fast moving the 6D is perfectly fine. Very good IQ for the money.
