Down the rabbit hole....
At least that is the feeling I got when I entered the Ripley Center in Washington DC. Located close to the Smithsonian Castle, the entry to the Ripley is a small kiosk with little to suggest that it is the gateway to a very large facility. The center includes three sublevels that house offices, meeting rooms, class rooms, a theater, art collections, and a subterranean entrance to the African Art Museum and two other museums. In a separate post I will share images from the display that was the main attraction for me - Turquoise Mountain.
Ripley Center kiosk-easy to miss but well worth finding.

Art lines the hallways. This lowest level has a cavernous feeling. It is quite impressive.

Thank you, Bob! When I Googled the Ripley Center this morning, I found a very similar shot. It is one of the first views as you start down the stairs.
