I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a lens~ I had ordered from a 'seller', in Japan. It arrived yesterday and I was 'more' than pleasantly surprised!!! It was a beautiful day~weather-wise> So I decided to take some fast 'snaps', in order to have some documentation (optics) for insurance purposes. Thought I might share some of the 'takes' from the shoot.
Best regards, to ALL!~ CyberDave

Have you used it on a DSLR body?
I used the Pentax 645 system and have sixteen medium format lenses.
By using an adaptor, I can use all of those lenses on my Nikon bodies.

Greeting, Robert!:>
Well, your question is certainly a timely one...because I have just recently begun to experiment with some of my (oldies but goodies)=Mamiya RB 67 lenses in an 'unholy union'~!:> with my Canon DSLR systems. *I have not shot anything yet, using my 'unicorn' 500mm lens`but when I do{it will always be joined in 'holy matrimony', to my Pentax 645D~ 'Pentax begets Pentax'!:>

Now, onto the my first 'unholy union'!>{Mamiya RB 67 Sekor 360mm F/6.3} + {Canon DSLR}= 'a work in progress'!!!> as you can note by it's 'First Born'{"Sleeping Goose Feathers"} *Warmest regards, and thanks for your post!:> Cyberdave

I should think that for insurance purposes they'd want pictures with at least some kind of detail.

Wowsa...that is one terrific kit! Yes, I noticed the tripod too and was wondering if you could use/find a collar for the lens and use it with a gimbal head? Would make a nice wildlife kit in a blind!

He just got the lens yesterday. Give some time to use and adjust to it. Geeez!

Given time I am sure he will take a few pictures of Blue Roses.

Are we talking about a camera lens or adopting a child?
