Singular "uncommon" birds visiting our little town park, Jacobson Park, Lexington Ky always amaze me. This week's surprise was one strange white gull. After researching it, I do beleive our flying thru visitor is a Forester's Tern.

Fellow was rather evasive, staying at the farther range of my 150-600 mm Sigma Lens.

Definitely looks like a Forster's Tern to me. We have lots in my area. Was just out shooting some this AM. They are really tough to capture due to their fast and erratic flight patterns.
