So the letter says "Parkway High School REQUIRES..." it doesn't say Parkway High School NOW requires or IS requiring.
This would lead any rational thinking person (present company excluded) to believe that this policy was already in place and more than likely has been for a long time. Probably at most if not all high schools around the nation.

Playing on a high school football team is a privledge, tat comes with certain responsibilities, At this school one of those responsibilities is respect for the flag. A player can be kicked off the team for any reason that the coach or the principal shall decide. He can't be expelled but he can be prohibited from playing. Re Trump and the first amendment--He has a constitutional right to free spech as does evert american. And BTW pro football players sign a contract which states that they can be let go for ANY REASON that brings harm to the team. They do not have the righ to free speech.
