All shot with a wide-angle lens. I like this lens for close-ups and am trying to get to know it better.

You should always know your lenses and it looks like your wide angle knows what it's doing!!

Sherry it's working well for you, is it a 28mm?

Beautiful Sherry. Looks like your wide lens focuses real close. I have used a Canon A650 for close ups since you can get nearly a few inches away. The great depth of field is a draw back, except when you want exactly that.

Well, thank you, Donna! I used this lens a few weeks ago for the first time since forever! I had forgotten how much fun it can be to shoot and I'm trying to not let it languish in the dark recesses of my camera bag.

Thank you, Angela! The lens is a 10-22mm zoom that I keep on a Canon SL1 camera - the combo is so small and lightweight that it's like playing with a little toy. I almost giggle when I click the shutter.

Thanks, HOT. The lens is a Canon EF-S 10-22mm zoom and I find it to be a fine lens. The pics here were all shot at 22mm on a cropped frame camera. Oh - I also used a 500D close up lens. It's fun to play with!

Thanks, Janos! Close-up with a great depth of field is what I'm looking for right now. I really wanted to use a smaller aperture, but I just didn't have enough light that day - I try to avoid high ISOs.
