Do what to duplicate LR cc "dehaze" in LR 6??

Looking for help: dehaze in LR cc is great, but likely the same controls, several, should allow the same effect in the current 6.10 version. Has anyone figured it out?

Google usually has the answer, maybe several answers. I found this:

There is also a way to add a dehaze slider to LR 6

If you don't want to go to CC you can also get a dehaze in PSE v14 & 15
In Expert Mode go to Enhance dropdown menu and it is towards the bottom "haze removal"

Thank you Math78 and robertjeri. I installed the LRdhaze one, and will see how it goes. Thank you both for the very prompt help.

You can also try a custom curve in curves leaving shadows and highlights alone and doing adjustments in the midtones sections. The problem with PS and LR dehaze is that it can shift color balance in the mids.

I personally prefer using the clarity and vibrance sliders rather than the dehaze. I feel it gives the same result with more control on my end.

You can achieve the same dehazing effect in Photoshop by manipulating the Radius setting in Unsharp Mask. I've been doing it for over 10 years now.

BTW, you can have it NOT affect the color also.

These answers are interesting. I have LR 6, and it would be nice to have that feature. I normally increase the clarity contrast and that helps.

it's funny, but sometimes I get real good results in LR6 by hitting the auto tone before doing anything else. Then I use various other adjustments to bring the photo into shape.
